Paddling in San Luis Pass

Description San Luis Pass offers it all -- shallow bays, large bays, deep channels, and surf. Paddle west through Cold Pass or north through Titlum Tatlum Bayou. Go through the Mud Cut into West Bay. Take your binoculars or camera to view the numerous species of birds or take your rod and reel and cast a line or two. Make sure that you have a map or chart of the area and that you have a GPS. Watch out for strong currents in the pass. Sit-on-top kayaks and sea kayaks are appropriate for the coast.
