Instruction

Instruction that is certified by the American Canoe Association (ACA) is denoted by "ACA". Schedules are subject to change without notice; you should contact the instructor listed to confirm a class.

APC Pool Session for Rescues and Rolls, Town Lake YMCA pool, 1100 W. Cesar Chavez. The YMCA is adjacent to the AmTrack station and can be reached from Lamar Blvd. or from Cesar Chavez. Use the following table to determine the cost of the session.

A waiver of liability is required to be signed as a condition of membership in APC and, for guests, as a condition of participating in APC instruction. Bring a clean boat, PFD, helmet, paddle, and appropriate clothing. Even though we're in an indoor facility, the water can get chilly while you're working on your rescue and rolling skills.

Instruction is limited to 5 students so that we may devote as much time as possible with each student.
